Dalat is a young city in the South of Vietnam, where the weather is quite better than the North and the Center. It is believed that Dalat has four seasons during the day, yah, it’s true. The price is approximately 850.000 VND to 2.000.000 VND. If you want to save money and time, you should “hunt” tickets from some promotions of these agencies.
It should be noted that Liên Khương Airport (DLI) is quite far away from Dalat. There are 4 ways to go from the airport to the city center of Dalat. Taxi is the most convenient and quickest way to go. However, the rate is quite high, around 250.000 VND to 300.000 VNd for a 4-seat or 7-seat car. You should avoid some fake taxi brands to help yourself out. Some taxi brands you can trust are Mai Linh Taxi (Tel: 063.38.38.38.38), Thắng Lợi Taxi (Tel: 063.3835.835) or Dalat Taxi (Tel: 063.355.66.55). The best way to save money is to take a bus to get to the city center from the airport. You can take Airport Shuttle Bus (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM) costing 40.000 VND/ticket. If you travel with a group, you can rent a car from 4 - 45 seats depending on the scale of your group. Or you can contact your accommodation to ask for picking-up service.
Next, you can visit Dalat by car, I mean both car and bus. You can rent a car and start your own journey from your starting point. This is the best idea if you travel with a group since you can also use it to travel around when visiting Dalat. Otherwise, there are some bus companies that you can buy tickets to get Dalat. However, it’s not a good idea if you start from the North of Vietnam since you have to take at least 2 buses to get Dalat.
